KW Agents Supporting Local Students with School Supply Drive

For the past three years, Marilyn and Jason Richesin have proudly partnered with the Marvin Williams Recreation Center with their annual Back-to-School Bash, a free community event dedicated to helping local students start the school year with confidence.  This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 12pm-3pm.

Each year, students receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies while families enjoy a day of fun featuring food, games, local vendors, bounce houses, and more. The event has become a meaningful way to bring the community together while supporting local children and their families.

The support from the community has grown tremendously. During their first year collecting donations, Marilyn and Jason filled 3/4 of a car with school supplies. Last year, that number grew to two full carloads of donations—a testament to the generosity of our community and the impact this event continues to make.

This year, Marilyn and Jason are once again collecting donations of new school supplies to help even more local students start the school year prepared and confident. Every notebook, backpack, pack of pencils, or box of crayons makes a difference and helps set a child up for success.  “One of my favorite things about Kitsap County is seeing how our community comes together to support local kids”.

• Purchase any of the supplies needed:
  • Backpacks
  • Wooden pencils/pens
  • Crayons
  • Erasers
  • Scissors
  • Glue sticks (big/mini)
  • 2 pocket folders
  • Composition/spiral notebooks
  • Rulers
  • Notebook paper
• Drop off at the Keller Williams Greater 360 office by Friday, July 31st at 19470 Viking Ave NW, Suite 201 in Poulsbo.  The office is open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
